Leon Garrison Fountain Leon Garrison Fountain was born January 24, 1948 in Mecklenburg County, VA to the late Velrecer and Criscilla Faulkner Fountain. God, in his infinite wisdom, called our beloved brother home at his residence on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Leon enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, as he loved playing horseshoes, fishing, playing cards and dancing. He was a very energetic and jolly person until his health started to decline. Leon’s presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Christine F. Terry, Mary F. Smith and Rebecca F. Oliver, and one brother, Thomas Fountain. He leaves not to mourn his passing, but to cherish his many fond memories his sisters, Ocleaver Fountain of Richmond, VA, Nancy F. Brown of Clarksville, VA and Jaunita F. Bell (Rev. George) of Nelson, VA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends too numerous to name. Memorial Service Saturday, July 9, 2022 1:00 P.M.
