Funeral service for Annette Shiver, 59, of Opelika, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Bishop Nolan T. Torbert will officiate.

Ms. Shiver, who passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL, was born October 17, 1962 in Columbia, South Carolina.

Public viewing will be Friday, July 1, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required). She leaves to cherish her memory: three brothers, Jeffrey (Wanda) Shiver of Opelika, AL, William (Lavette) Shiver and Reginald (Zi) Shiver both of Gadsden, SC; two sisters, Vivian P. (Elder Clem) Smith of Auburn, AL and Dorothy Hawkins of Columbia, SC; five aunts, Doretha Lloyd , Sarah Green, Lucy Hall, Gertrude Shiver all of Gadsden, SC and Nellie Jenkins of Eastover, SC; two uncles, Peter D. (Dorothy) Shiver and Joseph (Carmel) Shiver of Gadsden, SC; special friend, Larry Brown of Gadsden, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
