Clementine gave her life to Christ at an early age. During the time she served at The Burnsville Church Of God, she became the Church Secretary and the Sunday School Secretary. She loved teaching the little kids in Sunday School. She was very smart and fun loving, but she would get you straight at the drop of a hat. Clementine loved to dress herself and matched all of her accessories with what she wore.

Clementine grew up in Anson County and graduated from Bowman Senior High School and attended Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, NC. She also attended Barber Scotia College in Concord, NC. She was employed by Southern Bell Telephone Company in Charlotte, NC for a period of time.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to David L. Colston, Sr. To this union two children were born.

In addition to her parents, Lynwood and Lonia Parker, Clementine was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lucille Parker and two grandchildren, Tretez and Vashawn.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband, David L. Colston, Sr. of Polkton, NC; one son, David L. Colston, Jr. (Talea) of Fayetteville, NC; one daughter, Davida (Pastor James) Gibson of Cheraw, SC; fourteen grandchildren: Shinese, David Colston, III, Nictorous, Noah, Israel, Cameron, Lexus, Kalief, Zakera, Yazmine, Autumn and Adien Colston, Isaiah Rouse, and Javius Gibson; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Linda Wyonia Parker of Monroe, NC.

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

To the family of Clementine "Tina", I worked at LNMTC years ago. Tina would sit in my office for hours and keep me company. After I left, she had the staff to call me. Tina wanted to know why I left. I did go back to visit her. She gave me some fond memories. Love you Tina and may you rest in peace. We will meet again! Darlene Newsome

To: The entire Colston-Parker Family, I am deeply sorry to learn about the loss of your beloved Clementine. I grew up with her and her family in the Burnsville township community and attended the same school at West Ansonville. I have such fond memories of her during those years, however, after graduating from West Ansonville, I mostly lost contact with her and the family when I moved away. Her sister Wyonia and I were classmates and graduated together from West Ansonville High. I merely wanted to reach out to express my sincere condolences to you, the family, and to say that you shall remain in my thoughts and prayers as you prepare to lay her to rest. No doubt she will live on in your memories, your thoughts, and your hearts forever. She will mine too! Blessings and Love to each of you! In deepest sympathy, Marilyn Staton White. Sacramento, CA

Family and friends of Mother Colston please accept my deepest condolences. I never met her but I knew her children and that was enough for me to go by, just to know they were raised by a wonderful woman. Let not your hearts be troubled, for her weary days are over. Praise God for allowing her to see the years she was here and know that she's no longer in the physical but always in your hearts.
