Obituary For Annette Ross

Ms. Annette Elizabeth “Nette” Ross transitioned from this life to her eternal home on Tuesday, June 29, 2022 in Carbarrus County, NC. She was born on March 21, 1964 to the late Lizzie Mae Jackson and the late Kendall Ross, Jr.

Annette attended Shelby and Burns High Schools. She attended Good Samaritan Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. She loved people and had a smile that could brighten up any room she entered. Annette was an easygoing person and did things for people without ever complaining.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Fannie Mae Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her memory to her son, Latron Cherry (fiancé, Sarah Morris) of Shelby, NC; one grandson, Trayvon Guest; six sisters, Sadie Pryor of Shelby, Iris Jackson of Los Angeles, CA, Mamie Kate Jackson of Shelby, Beverly Bristol (Perry) of Shelby, Lula Hopper of Charlotte, NC and Diane Whitfield; four brothers, Samuel Jackson (Pam), of Las Vegas, NV, Thomas Jackson (Denise) and Kenneth Jackson (Alma) both of Kings Mountain, NC, and Ray Jackson of Shelby; special friends, Manuel Shell and family and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at S. T. Enloe Memorial Chapel at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:00 PM on Wednesday.
