Mr. Kingsley Anthony Reeves of Detroit, Michigan Beloved Husband of Mrs. Rhonda Doveal Reeves, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Veteran born on February 23, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan made his transition on Sunday, August 26, 2022 at Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan at the age of 74.Visitation/Family Hour will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM with the Celebration Of Life at 11:30 AM in the Chapel Of Ellis Funeral Home 22401 Grand River Ave. ( between Lahser Rd. & Telegraph Rd. ) Detroit, Michigan 48219. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd. in Holly, Michigan 48442. Flower Delivery hours will be on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 12 Noon to 3:00 PM.

Mr. Reeves was a great friend during our pursuit of doctoral program at Wayne state university. He was a true friend of mine, and I will surely miss him! He was a great man who had positive influence in my life. I will really miss his funny jokes full of words of encouragements and wisdom. May the good Lord accept his soul in the heavenly kingdom! May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, all rest in peace! Amen! To the wife, children and grandchildren, I pray that the good Lord will give you the strength to bear this great loss. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time.
