Obituary For Debra Howard

Debra Howard, was born April 11, 1963 to Betty Howard Fryar of Clinton, North Carolina. On Friday, July 1,2022 God decided to add another flower to his heavenly garden. Debra attended the public schools of Sampson County. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1981. While in High School she drove school buses transporting kids to school. After High School she relocated with her family to Grovetown, Georgia, where she remained until her passing. She was employed by Publix Supermarket for 24 years before retiring. She was a devoted and hard-working employee. Debra was a devoted and loving daughter, sister and aunt. She loved her family and would help anyone She could. Before becoming ill, she was a devoted caregiver to her Aunt Ruby H. Burkeen. She was preceded in death by her stepfather John Fryar, her grandmother Ruth Leaverette, her uncle Joseph Lee Howard and her aunt Ruby H. Burkeen.

Public viewing will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Mask are required at the viewing and funeral.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, Georgia 30813.

Interment to follow.

She leaves to cherish and celebrate her life: her loving and devoted mother, Betty H. Fryar; a brother, Gary L. Howard; two nephews, Gary Romerus Howard Jr. and Jarvis Lionel Howard; two Aunts, Shirley H. Mack and Evelyn Oates; one uncle, Hollis Brewington; devoted first cousins, Gerald Butler, Anthony Butler, Andrea Sparrow, Pamela Mack, Ratasha (Robert) Oates, JC Oates (Medina), Byran (Kerri) Oates, Tekeysha Mack and Rishaun Burkeen. and a host of other cousins, family and friends.

I worked with Debra in Publix bakery for many years and I thought she was the most beautiful person inside and out! So kind and very supportive to everyone! She loved her family especially her mama! I've known Debra since 1971. We grew up together in Dogwood Circle. She was like a sister to me because her brother Gary was my close friend. I have too many fond memories to mention of her. She was just a sweetheart of a person, all of the time. RIP, Debra we'll see you in the morning.
