Thelma Marie Matthews Curry Chadwick, 81, of New Bern passed Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Visitation and Viewing will be held at 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM, Friday, July 15, 2022 at St. Paul Disciples of Christ Church 1905 Emerson St.

Her funeral service is 11:00 AM, Saturday July 16, 2022 at St. Peter's A. M. E. Zion Church 617 Queen St. The interment will follow at Cedar Grove Extension Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Marion "Ray" Curry, Chesterfield, VA, daughter, Erica Moore, Salisbury, NC; nephew/brother, Willie Borden; God-son, Reverend Larry Gordon; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchilden.
