He is survived by his wife, Deborah Blount of the home; mother, Arelene Blount of New Bern; sons, Jeremiah Blount, Jeffrey Blount, and Jordan Blount all of New Bern; daughters, Emily Niedwicky of Raleigh, Kaytlyn Blount of New Bern; daughter of his heart, Lindsey Cooper of Florida; brother, Joshua Blount of Raleigh; sister, Toccara Blount of Raleigh; grandmother, Nina Evans of Philadelphia, PA.
