Funeral service for Rosie Ware, 74, of Camp Hill, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2022, at New Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, Highway 50, Camp Hill, AL 36850 with interment in Sardis Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 3294 County Road 51, Lafayette, AL 36862, Reverend Justin Freeman will officiate.

Mrs. Ware, who passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 in Opelika, Alabama, was born November 25, 1947 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, July 15, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required). Mrs. Ware will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

She leaves to cherish her memory: four daughters, Tywanda “Dee Dee” Ware of Goodwater, AL, Allison Ware of Dallas, TX, Shari Ware of Virginia Beach, VA and Tralice Ware of Opelika, AL; eleven grandchildren, Jared Ware, Shaina Dowdell, Joshua Heard, Candice Harris, Brandi Heard, Trevius “Tre” Holstick, Jecorey Giles, Tristan Ware, Corey Giles, Jr., Tristan Ware, Trace Ware; seven great-grandchildren, Jayda Ware, Kai Pearson, Mason Ware, London Pearson, Paris Pearson, Miles Holstick and Haidyn Lucas; one sister, Mary Francis Wilson of Dadeville, AL; two brothers, Willie B. Wilson (Sharon) of Jackson’s Gap, AL and Woodrow Wilson of Dadeville, AL; one brother-in-law, Palmer Ware of Atlanta, GA; two sisters-in-law, Allene Jackson of Aurora, CO and Fannie Johnson of Irvington, NJ; special godson, Jesse Cross; special goddaughters, Pamela Baker, Vernetta Stone, Nicole Woody and Dwanna Stone; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
