Pastor Albert Tezeno, Sr. will be officiating the funeral service. Mr. Dunbar was a member of His Light Baptist Church under Pastor Marvin Andrus.
He served as a Deacon at Mount Olive Baptist Church and His Light Baptist Church.
Mr. Dunbar’s memories are being cherished by: his loving and devoted wife for 61 years, Celestine Dunbar of Opelousas, LA; three sons, Karl Micheal (Pamela) Dunbar, Sr. of Sewickley, PA, Eric Concard (Clark) Dunbar of Opelousas, LA and Clarence (Michelle) Dunbar, Jr. of Duson, LA; one daughter, Allison Dunbar Guillory of Opelousas, LA; one brother, Gerald (Charlene) Dunbar of Clarksville, TN; three sisters, Cleopatra Vallien (Billy) of Opelousas, LA, Pattie Ruth Peterson of Oakland, CA and Gloria Dove (Allen) of San Antonio, TX; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Adam Dunbar and Maddie Broussard Dunbar; one brother, Dorsey Ventroy; and four sisters, Verna Mae Shine, Barbara Ann Washington, Orella Brown and Della Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at First Benjamin Baptist Church.
