Jennie was the daughter of the late Llewellyn Searcy and Jennie Dilworth Searcy.
With the passing of her mother, a three day old Jennie was thankfully mother by her Aunt Eliza Searcy Russom Dick, stepmothers Irene and Annie Mae.
Jennie moved to Greensboro in the early 1950s and married Ralph Lowe in 1955. She was employed by UNCG and from UNCG she retired.
Jennie was a avid prayer warrior. She was a active member of the St James AME Church of Oak Ridge where she was a member of the choir and she served on the steward board, missionary, Sunday school and received the living legacy award from the WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION.
To know Jenny was to know a warm, and caring person, a beautiful smile and a lovely singing voice. She loved baseball, gardening, collecting knick-Knacks, watching game shows and solving word puzzles. Jennie was well known and appreciated for her cornbread served with a smile from her to all.
Jennie is proceeded in death by her parents, husband Ralph Lowe, Sisters Mozelle (Polly) Jeffries and Lois Griffin
She leaves to cherish her memories a beloved twin sister Lennie Dorothy Searcy, Aunt Bernice Dilworth Hooker, Goddaughter Selena Bostic and a host of nieces, nephews, other Relatives and Friends. ...............................................................
