Obituary For George Ragious Moore

George Ragious Moore, 76, of Anniston, passed away on June 22, 2022.

He was born on October 2, 1945, at Fort McClellan, Alabama. For many years he was an active member of All Saints Catholic Church. George had a zest for life and enjoyed family, friends and music. He was a graduate of Cobb Avenue High School. George is predeceased by his parents, Ragious and Lucile Moore and grandparents, George and Louise Bush and James and Bessie Moore. Surviving are his sister, Vernell, and brother-in-law Erskin Gray, uncles James Moore, Jr. (Gwendolyn) and Willie Ed Moore. Special appreciation is extended to his cousins and Marion Greene, Ms. Neola, Nebrasker Burnhart, Bonnie Lewis, and Elberta Mitchell. The family expresses sincere thanks to Dr. Carla Thomas, Dr. McVeigh and Angela; nurses of SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice, and nurses at Rehab Select - Talladega.

In compliance with George's wishes, a graveside service was held on June 30, 2022. Pastor Edward Bolton was the officiant/eulogist.
