Obituary For Darrell Curnell Pugh

Mr. Darrell Curnell Pugh was born August 17, 1970, in Brooks County, Georgia to Mr. Curtis Johnson and the late Maxine Doleman. He departed this life at his home, in the early morning of July 15, 2022.

Darrell attended Brooks County High School. He worked as a landscaper with Triple C Landscaping for many years and later with Advantage Lawncare, both of Valdosta, GA. Darrell also worked with FLW Enterprise of Valdosta, GA. Darrell became a member of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church as a young child. He also became a Jr Mason at a young age. Darrell loved his family and his children.

Darrell was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Doleman, his grandparents Jake & Eliza Pugh, and his brother, Chris Pugh.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his father, Mr. Curtis Johnson, Miami, FL, and a loving sister who he cherished dearly, Tresa Gail Pugh Jackson, Valdosta, GA, children; Anessa Waters, Valdosta, GA, Darrell Pugh, Jr. and Tavares Jenkins, Adel, GA, Adrianna Palmer and Serenity Hampton, Valdosta, GA, Godson, Kenneth Pugh, Adel, GA. His Godmother, Elizabeth Keeley, Valdosta, GA, three nieces; Ieshia Pugh (Rennick), LaQuinta Jackson and Quineshia Jackson, Valdosta, GA and three nephews; Darrius Miller (Lacy), Morven, GA, Tyler Phillips and Rakeem Johnson, Valdosta, GA; a special friend, Vickie Clayton, Valdosta, GA. Special cousins and friends; Nicky Jenkins, Lomax Jenkins Jr., Eric Smallwood, Demetrius Donaldson, Antonio Brown, Farmer Williams and Bobby Freeman.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11AM on the Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Lawn. Visitation will be Friday at the Stevens-McGhee Chapel from 12PM-7PM. Livestream service will be available for Saturday on this website.
