Obituary For Queenie Gregory

Queenie Mae Gregory was born September 22, 1960 in Allendale County to the late John Gregory and the late Queen Gregory. At an early age, she became a baptized member of Jackson Branch Missionary Baptist Church. She served faithfully until her passing.

She was educated in the Public Schools of Allendale County, and was a graduate of Allendale-Fairfax High School, Class of 1979.

Queen as she was affectionately called, was employed with Corbett Plywood, Fairfax, SC for numerous years.

She recently became employed with Arms of an Angel Home Healthcare. Queen was a true caretaker and she loved on her clients as her family. She was truly a gift from God. Whenever she came in contact with someone she always greeted them with her beautiful smile. She would greet them by saying, "Is that your business?" "Don't agg me!" "Duh!" "Wow!" and "I got to go check on my house and my grandbaby. We loved our Queen unconditionally.

Her greatest accomplishment, and her pride and joy were the birth of her only child, Shaniqua. She loved Shaniqua and she considered her to be her little Princess. Queen also had a special place in her heart for her only grand-daughter, Bailee. She adored her precious Bailee.

On Thursday, July 21, 2022, God saw fit to call our beloved Queenie from labor to receive her ultimate award at her residence in Fairfax, South Carolina. Her memories will forever live on in the hearts of her dear family.

In addition, to her parents, she is preceded in death by: Maternal Grandparents, Trottie Smart, Sr., and Rebecca Smart; Paternal Grandparents, Phillip Gregory and Minnie Gregory; (2) Brothers: Isiah Gregory, and Sammie Lee Gregory; (1) Devoted Cousin reared as a sister; Patricia Wright.

Her departure has left a tremendous void in the lives of her loving daughter: Shaniqua Gregory, Fairfax, SC; Adorable Grand-daughter, Bailee Ellis, Fairfax, SC; (2)Nieces, Savannah Gregory and Selena Gregory, both of Fairfax, SC;

(1) Sister-In-Law, Rose Ann Gregory, Fairfax, SC; (1) Brother-In-Law: Ricky Wright, Varnville, SC; (1) Cousin reared as a sister in the home; Tawanda Smart, Daytona Beach FL; (3) Cousins reared as sisters: Nancy (Kenneth ) White; Reatha Mae Miley and Priscilla (Donald) Wright, all of Fairfax, SC; (2) Cousins reared as brothers: Zander Robins and Frank Allen, Jr,; both of Fairfax, SC; (6) Nieces reared as her own: Rickeidre Wright, Ceyona Wright, Ny'Rhionna Wright, Logan Capers all of Varnville, SC; (2) God-Daughters: Kavasia Wright, Fairfax, SC; and Shanajee Devoe, Columbia, SC; (1) God-Son,; Damarion Youmans, Fairfax, SC; (1) Great-Niece, Diamond Washington, Fairfax, SC; (1) Great-Nephew; Blake Patterson, Fairfax, SC; (4) Devoted Cousins; Latisa Mitchell, Stedman Miley, Dolly Gregory and Evylin Youmans, all of Fairfax, SC; (8) Devoted friends: Patricia Mays, Patricia Smith-Allen, Marie Harley, Donald Smoaks, Thomas Riddle, James Smoaks, Richard Manor, Gloria Patterson, Evangalee Holmes, all of Fairfax, SC; and Ruthie Mae Bradley, Allendale, SC. A host of other relatives and sympathizing friends.
