Ms. Tammy Michelle Brown, passes away Friday, July 15, 2022 at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 12pm Cassie Coote Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home. Tammy was the daughter of Angela Neal and the late Martin Bennett. She was raised by Angela and Kenneth Brown, Sr. She was born in Greensboro, North Carolina October 14, 1969.

She departed this life on July 15, 2022. She was educated in the Greensboro public school system, graduating from Page High school. Tammy sought comfort in exploring the Word. Her daughter Carla would send her a bible quote each day which inspired her to get her own bible so she could study and meditate further on the Word. Tammy loved animals. She would become upset when she suspected or observed an animal being mistreated. Tammy’s smile, warmth, caring, selflessness, and generosity will be missed by a host of family and friends. She leaves to remember her life her mother Angela and Stepfather Marcus Byers. Children Stacey Brown, Carla Needum and Son Joshua McNair. Brothers and Sisters Kenneth Brown, April Isley and Michael Isley. She was proceeded in death by Brothers Terry Neal, Scottie Isley and two grandmothers that were also instrumental in her life, Mrs. Martha Washington, and Mrs. Janie Lee. Tammy also truly her beloved pets Shay and Papi. Tammy has many other “mothers” who also mourn her passing. Additionally, Tammy also has a host of other kinship, family and friends who truly loved her and will dearly miss her Presence.

There’s an open gate, At the end of the road through which each must go alone, and there is a light we cannot see. Our Father claims his own: Beyond the gate our loved one finds happiness and rest, and there is comfort in the thought – That a loving God knows best.
