Anthony Presley
Passed 07/20/2022
Anthony L. Presley was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 16, 1971 to Loretta Presley and the late John Smith. He grew up in Brooklyn's Albany Projects where he met many of his lifelong friends. He was educated through the NYC Public School System and graduated from Automotive High School in 1989. After graduating, Anthony worked various jobs until he began his career in law enforcement as an officer with the NYC Dept of Corrections, NYPD School Safety and finally as a decorated officer with the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority (TBTA). He retired in July 2021 and was able to put all his energy into his passion for photography, which led to him starting his own business. Aside from photography, Anthony enjoyed traveling, specifically cruising. He would attempt to cruise two to three times a year and was very proud of his Carnival platinum membership, which he would often brag about. He also loved bowling, singing, cooking, listening to music and was a profound poet. But his love for BMW vehicles was his latest obsession. He would watch hours of videos to the point that he could tell you everything you wanted to know about BMW. Another one of Anthony's passions was motorcycles. He was a skilled rider and quickly became loved and respected by the motorcycle community. He was affectionately known as "Six Nyne" and held several positions with the Brooknines MC which included Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President and ultimately, President. He was presently serving as VP of The LandlordZ MC. He was also a representative for the Ghetto Coalition of NY. As a member, he participated in various charitable events such as the LandlordZ Fallen Soldierz Run, the LandlordZ Feed Our Community Thanksgiving Dinner, the Ghetto Coalition/ Ghetto Society Wyckoff Hospital Toy Run, the Ghetto Coalition/ Ghetto Society Boys and Girls Toy Run and the Ghetto Coalition Bikers for Babies Pamper Run. Anthony was blessed with a large and loving family that spread across SC, VA, MD, PA and CT. He would often reminisce about the fun he had growing up with his cousins. Anthony was at his happiest when spending time with his family and friends. Anthony and his mother had a special bond and were very close. He took great pride in making sure her needs were met and would regularly remind his children about the importance of taking care of their parents. As well as being a rock for his mom he was a solid support system for his three children, always dishing out advice and posing hypothetical questions to them. He would frequently call them with a "scenario of the day." No problem was ever too big for him to tackle when it came to making sure his children were adequately provided for. While working for TBTA, Anthony met'Rasheda and after a long courtship, they wed in July 2020 in a private backyard ceremony that was televised on the Kelly and Ryan morning show .... something he was very nervous but also excited about. Anthony touched many people in many different ways. He was often referred to as Ant, Prez, Six, Bro and Cuz, but no matter what name was used, they all had the same meaning; friend. He was trustworthy, straightforward and honest. He was loyal, respectful, and caring. He was funny, sarcastic, and supportive. He was just an all around great guy. Anthony L. Presley sadly passed away on July 20, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, John Smith. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife; Rasheda Presley, two sons; Tre'shon and Tyriq Presley, daughter; Tabitha Presley, mother; Loretta Presley, brother; Wayne Presley, niece; Neveah Presley, best friend/brother Alfornzo (Erica) Williams, and a host of cousins and friends that became family. He was loved and adored by all that knew him. He will forever be missed.
