Obituary For James Robert Moore

On Tuesday, July 26, 2022, James Robert Moore 60, of D.A. Turner Circle, Martinsville, VA, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life. Born August 15, 1961, in Henry County, VA, the son of John Tyler Moore and Sarah Lou Martin Moore who preceded him in death.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by three brothers, John Henry Moore, Bobby Tyrone Moore, and Howard Moore.

James was a graduate of George Washington Carver High School and was employed by True Lawn Scaping.

Those left to his memory include: one sister, Annie Louise Grey of Martinsville, VA; two brothers, Clarence (Priscilla) Moore and Moses Moore both of Martinsville, VA; special friend, Jerome "Munk Man" Martin of Martinsville, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home with Bishop Kaye Waller, Eulogist. Burial will be private. Viewing will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022, at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. In accordance with the CDC, a face covering, and social distancing is required.
