Obituary For Rosetta Brooks

Obituary Mrs. Rosetta Major Brooks was born on November 30, 1931 in Barwick Georgia to the late Nina and Jimmie Major, Sr. At a young age, she joined New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Boston, Georgia. She married her late husband Eddie Paul Brooks. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend to all who had the pleasure of meeting her. On July 20, 2022, Rosetta was called to her heavenly home. One daughter, Cora M. Staten preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories; one daughter Patricia A. Brooks; one son, Wallace F. Brooks; one granddaughter, Kedria A. Brooks; two grandsons, Gregory A. Howard and Patrick C. Staten; one brother, Wallace E. Major; one sister, Earnestine M. Davis; a devoted and loving son-in-law, Rev. Elzie Staten; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life will be Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 3PM at North End Cemetery with Rev. Carl Washington, eulogist.
