Obituary For Louise Scott Black

Louise S. Black, 92, of Mechanicsville, VA, died July 28, 2022. Surviving are her son, Earl Timothy Parker, Sr. (Sharon); grandson, Earl T. Parker, Jr.; granddaughter, Felicia Warren: great grandchild, Nasir Went; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Thursday, August, 4 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 5 at Sharon Baptist Church, 500 E. Laburnum Ave. Rev. Paul Coles, officiating. Interment Riverview Cemetery.

To Ms. Louise, Earl, Sr., Jr. and Felecia. I'm just seeing Ms. Louise's obituary. My brother texted it to my sister and I. I always think about you all as you were part of my family. I happened to see Mrs. Black's obituary in the newspaper! I was so sorry to hear of her passing. I would think about her often. Mrs. Black was a wonderful part of the nursing staff at McGuire VA Medical Center. I am glad to have had the opportunity to work with her. I remember her talking about her son and grandchildren back in the day. She was a joy to know and be around. I'm thankful for the talks we used to have and I'm glad she was able to have a lengthy retirement. May God bless you all with comfort and peace.

Ms.Louise thank you for being a best friend to my grandmother thank you for being in my family for so many years your smile use to light up a room I remember you when I was a kids you would come and visit and sit with my grandma and we all would ride to the mall or out somewhere and I use to fall asleep in your car you was so loving caring sweet and kept a smile on your face you was like a second grandmother to me and I appreciate the time you had shared may your beautiful soul rest I'm every lasting peace in GODS hands you was an angel on earth you will truly be missed my prayer goes to your family and friends love always the beards family
