Obituary For Kimberly B. King

Kimberly King 51, of Olympia St., Martinsville, VA transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Friday, July 29, 2022. Born June 5, 1971, in Virginia, she was the daughter of William King, and the late Lucy Hairston King.

Kimberly was a faithful member of Mt. Sinai Apostle Church where she was a member of the Choir and attended Sunday School. She was a 1989 graduate of Martinsville High School. After graduating from high school, Kimberly went on to further her education by graduating from National Business College.

Those left to cherish her memory include: one son, Stephon D. Jamison of Martinsville, VA; her father, William King of Martinsville, VA; and a host of other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 12 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Apostle Church, 7 Peters St., Martinsville, VA, with Bishop J.C. Richardson, Jr., Eulogist. Burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens, 1310 Carver Rd., Martinsville, VA. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. In accordance with the CDC, a face covering, and social distancing is required. Other times, the family will be receiving friends at the home on Peters St., Martinsville, VA. The family ask that when visiting the home that you would please observe all COVID 19 guidelines.

Sending prayers of comfort to the family. Kim was such an amazing person. The last time we spoke she mentioned coming to visit once Covid calmed down. Kim was a kind, warm and friendly person. I enjoyed singing in the choir with her years ago at Mt. Sinai. I will always cherish fond memories of her.
