Obituary For Mildred Penn

Mildred V. Penn, 91, of Harrisburg transitioned into eternal life on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at UPMC Osteopathic Hospital. She was born in West Lawn, Surrey Co., NC, the daughter of the late Failous and Rebecca Myrtle (Moore) Penn, retired from the Commonwealth of PA-Dept. of Labor and Industry and a faithful member of The Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Mildred leaves to celebrate her life; her brothers, John Wayne Penn (Shirley) and Gary S. Penn; her niece and nephew, Ayana and Ayan Penn, who took care of her and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her life will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 2nd at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of her Church, 212 N. Progress Ave., with viewing and visitation 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery. Covid 19 guidelines will be observed with masks for all attendees.
