It was with deepest sorrow that Lavender’s Funeral Service announced the passing of MRS. THELMA CLARK CHERRY, 66 of Aliceville, Alabama on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

PUBLIC VISITATION for Mrs.Thelma Cherry was Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.

THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY OF Mrs. Thelma Clark Cherry of Aliceville, Alabama was Saturday, August 6, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Spirit & Truth Pentecostal Church, 2717 MLK Road in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mrs.Cherry was in state in the church one hour prior to the service.

INTERMENT was in New Cemetery, 196 Valleyview Road, also in Aliceville. Apostle Jeffrey Ball, Sr. is The Pastor of Spirit & Truth Pentecostal Church. Reverend Robert W. Jackson, Jr., Pastor of Dancy First Baptist Church in Aliceville, Alabama was The Eulogist.

FOR THE HEALTH & SAFETY OF EVERYONE MASKS WERE REQUIRED.

Individuals who are immune compromised, elderly, at high risk for severe illness, or currently ill were encouraged to remain at home.
