Funeral services for Mr. Drequan Greene, 13, of 102 Kemmerlin Road, Orangeburg, SC, will be held 2:30 p.m., Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory, Orangeburg, SC with interment to follow in Heavenly Rest Memorial Park, Cordova, SC. Apostle John Brown is officiating.

Drequan Rondell Greene, the son of Latoya Greene and Andre Greene was born July 30, 2008 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Drequan left his earthly home to be with Christ on July 25, 2022.

Drequan was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County and attended Robert E. Howard Middle School.

Drequan attended Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Cordova, SC where he was an avid believer in Christ.

Drequan loved anime and collecting anything anime. He was an avid gamer and Youtuber. He loved music and sheltering his mom.

Drequan is preceded in death by his brother, Noah Neals, and his Grandmothers, Cora Joe Ford and Linda Greene.

Drequan leaves to cherish his memories: his mother and father, Latoya and Andre Greene; siblings: Chrisonie (Teasia) Frederick, Terrell Greene, Andre Greene, Jr., and Cordre Greene, all of Orangeburg, SC and Rashawn Greene of Hampton, SC; special uncle, Jarvis (Tekara) Crosby of Maryland; Godmother, Corshia Ford; grandfather, Cecil (Sheila) Murdaugh of Ehrhardt, SC; great grandmother, Helen (Bernard) Dickerson of Ehrhardt, SC; step-grandfather, Tony Ford of Cordova, SC; three aunts: Monqueisha Joe of Rockhill, SC, Veronica Murdaugh of Columbia, SC and Michelle Hayward of Orangeburg; four uncles: Cecil Murdaugh III of Ehrhardt, SC, Timothy Greene of Orangeburg, SC, Trenton Murdaugh of Ehrhardt, SC and Shelton Murdaugh of Ehrhardt, SC; a special Sister, Marcasia Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Family and friends may visit the residence of his mother, Mrs. Latoya Greene, 102 Kemmerlin Road, Orangeburg, SC or Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg.
