Obituary For Louise DeLoach Reynolds

Louise DeLoach Reynolds passed away suddenly yet peacefully in her home in Anniston on July 20, 2022. She was 91. Affectionately known by many as Weezie or Weetie, she lived in Anniston for 60 years. Louise was born in Greenwood, Mississippi on January 30, 1931 to Robert and Louise DeLoach. She attended Mississippi State College for Women and Ole Miss where she met her husband, Frank Reynolds, who preceded her in death. Louise was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church. She loved to travel, was a voracious reader and enjoyed many years spending her summers in the North Carolina mountains. Louise is survived by her four children Rob Reynolds (Anne) of Montgomery, Jenny Jaquith (Don, deceased) of Birmingham, John Reynolds (Shirley) of Mandeville, LA and Anne Walker (Bill) of Greenville, MS In addition she leaves behind eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The family is especially grateful to Barbara Beason, a wonderful loving caregiver, who became her friend and helped make Louise's last years more enjoyable. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church, the Public Library of Anniston or the charity of your choice.

A visitation will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Anniston on Saturday August 20, 2022 at 10 am with a service after at 11.

I met Weezie years ago at Images. She always made me laugh. I enjoyed listening to her stories, especially when she would talk about her summer home. She inspired me, without ever knowing it, to go after my dream home in Tennessee. She was a gracious southern lady that I will miss.
