Obituary For Jessie Kirkland

Celebration of Life for Mrs. Jessie Kirkland will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 10:00am at New Bethel AME Church, 1231 Tyler St. Visitation of friends at Mother Midway AME Church, 1456 Van Buren St on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 5-7pm. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.

She played many different roles, wore many different hats and family and friends gave her many different titles but I called her Grandma. My dearest sister was such a beautiful soul. She loved unconditional her smile always warmed your heart and she made everyone feel important and loved. She was such a sweet lady, beautiful smile beautiful voice and most of all I love the way she loved my brother. They were a wonderful couple and an example of Godly love. She will be missed dearly. Bro you be strong and know that you did your due diligence regarding your wife. Job well done you loved as God said till death did you apart. Hold on to the memories.
