Mrs. Mildred Henderson Lindsay went to be with the Heavenly Father on August 2,2022 after serving 100 years in the vineyard. She will forever be missed by her children: Erskine M. Lindsay of McConnells, SC; George ( Mary) Lindsay of Laurens, SC; Janet Lindsay Williams of Columbia, SC; Bernard Lindsay of Clinton, SC; and Akeela (Malcom)Aiken of Simpsonville, SC; her sister Gladys H. Simpson of Clinton, SC; fourteen grandchidren, twelve great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life was held August 6, 2022 in the Springfield Baptist Church Life Center Laurens, SC. Her final resting place is in the New Hope AME Church Cemetery, Mountville, SC.
