Graveside service for Jimmy Jones, 69, of Opelika, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, Reverend Willie J. Lyles will officiate.

Mr. Jones, who passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Arbor Springs Health & Rehab Center in Opelika, AL, was born November 25, 1952 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).

He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Nastassia Jones (Kentavis Johnson) of Opelika, AL; four grandchildren, Nykeria Johnson, Zortavis Johnson, JaKavian Jones and Nyazia Jones all of Opelika, AL; one brother, Jeffrey (Lisa) Jones of Tampa, FL; cousin as a sister, Shirli J. Lyles of Opelika, AL; one niece, Bianca Jones of Tampa, FL; one nephew, Jeffrey Jones, Jr. of Tampa, FL; three devoted friends, David Payne, Doug Payne and Sylvester Dumas; a host of other relatives and friends.
