Obituary For Joanne Tremble Gaines

Mrs. Joanne Tremble Gaines, 60, of Highway 296, Stapleton, Georgia departed this life at her residence, August 1, 2022. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stone Springfield A.M.E. Church, Stapleton, GA with MASK and SOCIAL DISTANCING. Burial will be held in Sandvalley A.M.E. Church Cemetery, Louisville, GA Public viewing will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Mrs. Gaines was a native of Jefferson County born to the Mattie Lockhart Tremble and the Late Roosevelt Tremble, Sr. She was a 1979 graduate of Wrens High School. Joanne worked at Stapleton Garment Company for 10 years. For the last 23 years she gave the best of her service to Thomson Plastic. She was a dedicated and faithful member of the Sandvalley A.M.E. Church where she served faithfully as a dedicated DOORKEEPER in her Fatherโ€™s House. On September 15, 1985 she married the love of her life, Anthony Gaines. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted husband: Anthony Gaines, Stapleton, GA; two loving daughters: Amanda Gaines, Jonesboro, GA, Whitley Gaines, Stapleton, GA; her caring mother: Mattie Lockhart Tremble, Stapleton, GA; siblings: Elizabeth (Kevin) Terrell, Avera, GA, Benjamin (Katie) Tremble, Roosevelt (Tyrie) Tremble, Jr., Tommie (Yuvondrea) Tremble, all of Stapleton, GA, Leroy (Juanita) King, Matthews, GA; her grandchildren, Kailey Neal and Alani Gibbons; Goddaughters, Kasden Dennis and Kerelenko Battle. I can't believe this about Joann passing She was one of the best people I knew.I worked with Joann many years and she was always ready to do what needed to be done.She always remembed my birthday and I certainly remembered hers.I know everyone in Heaven is enjoying her being there with them.Praying for all the family.
