Joyce Vernetta Williams Robbins was born August 13, 1947 in Gaston County, North Carolina and departed this life on July 29, 2022 in Shelby, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Ira and Florie Crawford Williams.

She was preceded in death by her three brothers Ira Williams, Jr., Fredrick A. Williams, Sr. both of Gastonia, NC and Thomas Williams of Kansas City, MO. the late Hattie Patterson of Gastonia, NC and Margaret Williams of Kansas City, MO.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Chinita Sherer (Derrick) of Smyrna, SC; two sons, Chad Robbins and Frank Robbins, Jr. both of Gastonia, NC.; two sisters, Sherry Williams and Laura Smith both of Gastonia, NC; two aunts Ernestine Williams and Vernon Crawford both of Gastonia, NC; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing at the funeral home on Friday; August 5, 2022 from 12 until 2

Funeral on Saturday; August 6, 2022 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Gastonia at 1:00 with thirty minute visitation before the service

Interment: North Oakland Cemetery, Gastonia
