To my uncle Cornell who was the sweetest gentle giant I have ever known. A real man that had the memory I wish I had. I always loved hearing your voice while you told all the family stories and corrected anyone who got it wrong. You will be missed. To the Family, I lift you up in prayer. Love Tonya

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Gravely. He was such a "gentle giant". You could feel his humbleness anytime you were in his presence. His quietness spoke volumes. May God give you all strength for the days and months ahead. Prayers for the entire family. Debra Stockton Martin

I am so very saddened by the passing of Uncle Cornell. The last of an era of what a real man, father, husband, uncle should be. Uncle Cornell was an honorable man in the truest sense. He was such a genuine loving person, always smiling, never unkind to anyone. A gentle giant with a heart of gold. Uncle Cornell always took exceptional care of Aunt Retta with the deepest of unconditional love. He was the model of what a man should be to his wife, family, and all that had the pleasure of knowing him. You've gained your wings now Uncle, take your rest in the arms of the Almighty. Sending love and hugs from my heart to yours. - Cheryl Oliver Randall
