Obituary For Donald Lee "Don" Littleton, Sr.

Donald Lee “Don” Littleton, Sr., of Osceola was born in Wilson Arkansas August 29, 1955 the son of Willie Littleton and Mary Alice Ford Littleton. Don was a 1973 graduate of Rivercrest High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Navy. Don was an active member of Living Word Cathedral Church of God in Christ serving as an usher under the pastorage of Superintendent A.L. Thomas. Don was a sports enthusiast with the Dallas Cowboys being his favorite football team and the St. Louis Cardinals as his favorite baseball team. Don was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Mary Littleton, six brothers Robert Pendleton, Jr., Charles Littleton, James Arthur Littleton, Sammie Wilson, Tommy Wilson, and Woodrow Wilson, two sisters Willie Mae Rutherford, and Elfredia Bledsoe, two granddaughters Aubrianna Vance, and Paige Davis. On Monday August 8, 2022, Don passed away at the Memphis Veterans Health Care Center at the age of 66. Don leaves to cherish precious memories his wife Barbara Ann Littleton of the home, seven sons, Felix (Nikki) Rutherford of Conway, Arkansas; Tyrone (Martha) Cotton of Orlando, Florida, Donald (Darrah) Littleton, Jr. of Osceola, Arkansas; Karis (Vanessa) Littleton of Osceola, Arkansas; Jeffery (Wanda) Littleton of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Chris Littleton of Osceola, Arkansas and Mario (LaTrina) Littleton of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three daughters, Latasha Littleton of Gosnell, Arkansas; Angie Littleton of Osceola, Arkansas and Shayla ( Marlon) Vance also of Osceola, Arkansas; three brothers, Andrew (Doris) Littleton of Osceola, Arkansas; Roosevelt (Shirley) Littleton of Osceola, Arkansas and Douglas Wilson of Rock Island, Illinois; thirteen sisters ,Mary Ann Littleton of St. Louis, Missouri; Jane Bell of Osceola, Arkansas; Deloris Littleton of Osceola, Arkansas; Sarah (Willie) Autmon of Memphis, Tennessee; Sharon Reed of Osceola, Arkansas; Gloria Newsome of Hazlehurst, Mississippi; Lillie Jackson of Gary, Indiana; Barbara Wilson of California; Gracie Bolden of Chicago, Illinois; Silvia Nettles of Chicago, Illinois; Ann Wilson of Houston, Texas; Lenora Wilson of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Valerie (James) Mitchell of Nashville, Tennessee; an aunt, Mary Freeman of Memphis, Tennessee; thirty-six grandchildren, many great grandchildren and a host of other loving family members and friends. Visitations will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday August 13, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until services begin at 1:00 p.m. at Living Word Cathedral Church of God in Christ, 503 West Semms Street, Osceola, Arkansas where Superintendent A.L. Thomas is the pastor. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Superintendent A.L. Thomas will deliver the eulogy with interment in Whiteside Gardens Cemetery, Osceola, Arkansas Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.mhfuneralhomeinc or visit us on Facebook at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home.
