OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, 1606 W. College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Ms. Demetria Yvette Bell, affectionately known by her family and friends as “Noonie”, 37, who entered eternal rest on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Southwind Nursing Home in Crowley, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Rev. Frank L. Ford will be officiating the funeral service.

Noonie’s memories are being cherished by: her father, Joseph Guillory of Opelousas, LA; her mother, Catherine Carriere (John Davis) of Opelousas, LA; grandmothers, Nathalie Carrier and Bessie Davis, both of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, Joshua Carrier and Willie J. Forsythe, both of Crowley, LA; one sister, Jordan Forsythe of Crowley, LA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her step father, Willie Forsythe; maternal grandfather, Gilbert Mayon; paternal grandparents, Alton Guillory, Sr. and Julian Guillory; two uncles, Patrick Carriere and Alton Guillory, Jr.; and two aunts, Mary Ann Carmouche and Wanda Davis.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ.
