LEMOYEN – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at St. Luke Baptist Church in LeMoyen, LA for Mr. Terry Laws, Sr., 68, who entered eternal rest on Friday, August 5, 2022 at his residence in Morrow, LA. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Rev. Murphy Riggs will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Laws’ memories are being cherished by: his loving wife, Irma Laws of Morrow, LA; two sons, Terry (Nicole) Laws, Jr. of Morrow, LA and Jarvis (Chastity) Laws of Mansura, LA; four brothers, Herbert (Netty) Laws of Houston, TX, Sherman (Ada) Laws and Jerry (Nora) Laws, both of LeMoyen, LA and Oliver Laws of Rayford, NC; five sisters, Enola Woodard and Bernice L. Bolles, both of Lamarque, TX, Ceola Semien of Beaumont, TX, Deloris Washington of Los Angeles, CA and Bernadette Indram of Texas City, TX; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Samuel and Dorothy Dumes Laws; one son, Christopher Gaines; one sisters, Gloria “Peggy” Gage; paternal grandparents, Elister Laws and Madeline T. Laws; and maternal grandparents, Orel Dumes and Mary Zerlda Dumes.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. Luke Baptist Church.
