Shirley Ann Herbin Miller was born on August 24th, 1947 in Reidsville, N.C to the late Maurice Moore and the late Carrie Herbin. The lord called her home on July 28th,2022. She was married to the late David Miller. Being a devoted wife she traveled wherever he was stationed during his time in the army. Shirley attended Booker T. Washington High School in Reidsville N.C. She accepted Christ at an early age. Being a strong believer in god gave her the strength and unwillingness to give up. She became a 3 times cancer survivor. Shirley was truly a queen to look up to. Shirley worked at Grace Bleachery for 25 plus years as a textile machine operator. After retiring from her job she embraced life by visiting her family, traveling and became an entrepreneur as a club owner with her close friends. One of her favorite past times was going to the casino. Shirley had a huge heart always welcoming others in. She became a mother figure to many. Shirley loved all her children but she especially loved her boys. Shirley will truly truly be missed. Shirley is survived by daughters Tonya McGriff and Tina Miller of Lancaster S.C. Adopted daughters Lanette McGriff, Angie Barber, Tomeka Evans, Tisha (Brian) Luke all of Lancaster S.C. Tablitha Hebin, Michele Parmley of Burlington, N.C and Nikki Samuel of Charlotte, N.C. Sons- Tyson (Roxanne) Miller. Adopted sons Reco Culp of Greensboro N.C, Tauares Wright, JJ(Sheresa) Worthy and Tracy Campbell all of Lancaster S.C. Sisters Delores (Rufus) Gwynn, Gladys (Richard) King, Mattie (Melvin) Dick, Louise Wilson, Sadie Kollore, Sister in law Jacqueline Thompson of Washington D.C sisterly bond with Patricia Wilson, Vickie (Eugene) McGriff and Gloria Grafton all of S.C. Brothers – Herbert (Jackie) Randolph, Earl (Sonya) Randolph, Theodore (Ella) Randolph Jr, Eugene (Frances) Randolph and Robert (Carolyn) Herbin all of N.C. Herbert (Diane) McCray of Lancaster S.C. Preceded in death By Brother David Herbin, Kenneth Herbin, Willie Moore, James Herbin, Ray Randolph, Wilbert Herbin, Monroe Harris and Step son Maurice Collins. Sisters Daphne Pinnix, Rosa Lee Neal And Faye kallore. Shirley had numerous grandchilderen and one great grandchild. Also a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
