Obituary For Don Smith

The Obituary Mr. Donald Edward Smith “Sugar” was born in February 15, 1948 to the late Amos and Martha Smith. At an early age, he joined New Salem Baptist Church. He attended Brooks County School system. He was married to the late Beatrice Smith. One sister and two brothers preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories two sisters, Sally Miley, Morven, GA and Easter Miley, Dixie, GA; four children, Delois and Kenny Jones, Morven, GA, Shirley and Frank Washington, Quitman, GA, Donell Reynolds, Morven, GA, Hazel Reynolds, Morven, GA; step-son Glen Lamons, Dixie, GA; sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; a very special friend of twenty plus years Moot Reynolds and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 3PM at Salem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Livestream will be available on this website as well as our Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Facebook page.
