Ms. Irene Green was born July 1st 1945 to the late Mr. Bennie, Sr. and the late Muria Dean Green.

She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and united with New Springfield Baptist Church in Siloam, Ga.

Early Tuesday morning, August 9, 2022, God called her home.

She has four siblings to proceed her in death: Bennie Green, Jr., Ruby D. Barnhart, Melvin Green and Harry Green, Sr. She also had a special friend Ms. Rosa Chapman to proceed her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories four children: Barbara West (Wayne) of Bogart, Ga., Edward B. Peek (Denise) of Athens, Ga, Teresa Peek of Crawford, Ga. and Tamara Redd (Kelvin) of Greensboro, Ga.; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four siblings: Louise Howard (Luther, Sr.), James C. Green (Godel), Diane Green & Eddie Green (Melissa); one aunt: Daisy Skrine. Special friends: Jennie Williams, Barbara Mitchell, Alton Glenn and one god daughter Darlene Oliver. A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
