Gloria and I share our condolences and prayer with the Fannie's family and close friends. I worked with Fannie for several years on Ft. Benning and had the pleasure of witnessing her positive spirit and grace. I will always remember her smile and dedication as a commensurate professional, and commitment to the mission and Soldiers that we served. We would have some memorable discussion about "Roll Tide!" and I admired her firm commitment to Alabama football. I also admired her firm commitment to goodness and God's light in all that she did to help others. Rest in Heaven our Friend.

My family and I send our heartfelt sincere condolences to the family of Fannie. Weve known Fannie and her family practically all of our lives. We lived and played together as children in the same neighborhood, attended the same church, was in Central Highschool band together and continued to remained close friends for years even after I left home and joined the Air Force. On Saturday's during football season, I could almost hear Fannie all the way in Virginia, hollering as the University of Alabama football team did something good on the football field. As I was texting a friend this past Thursday, I learned that Fannie was no longer with us. It kind of hit me like a sledge hammer as it did for all of us who knew Fannie. She was an outstanding musician, singer and could raise the roof off of any church when Fannie was singing and playing the piano. A lot of us didn't know that Fannie's health was like it was. I'm sure and confident that it was the way that Fannie didn't want us to know that her health wasn't as it should have been. Fannie didn't want us to fret over it. I'm sure that she wanted us to remember her as the happy person that she was. To Fannie's brothers, sister, children, grand children and close relatives, we all pray that the Lord give you all the strength to endure this great loss. This is a hard pill to swallow for all of us. Fannie has left an everlasting presence and legacy amongst all of us and she will never ever be forgotten. Ervin Littleton Virginia
