Obituary For Minnie Davis

Mrs. Minnie Mae Davis, 87, of Sontag, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Minnie Davis was born to the late Alton and Jemima Newell in Lawrence County, Mississippi. She was a member of Fairhill Baptist Church, Sontag, Mississippi.

She was a retired Certified Nurse Assistant who loved her grandchildren and watching television.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Fairhill Baptist Church at 12:30pm. Interment will be at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Sontag, Mississippi.

She is survived by: sons, Albert Davis, Felix Davis and Ira V. Davis all of Sontag, MS; Luther Davis of Blytheville, AR, Kenneth Davis of Byram, MS; Lucy D. Smith of Sontag, MS; grandchildren: 33; great-grandchildren: 48; great-great grandchildren: 7.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home, 3-6pm and Sunday at the church, 10:30-12:30pm.
