MS. ROSEMARY NANCE – Age 85, born June 4th, 1937 and passed away Thursday, August 25th, 2022 was truly an angel on earth. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Sarah Hardaway, her brothers Leo King, Aaron King, Harold Hardaway, and Leo Hardaway, as well as sisters, Francis Calbert and Mary Elizabeth Powell, and granddaughter, Joyceann Elizabeth Nance.

She leaves fond memories here on earth with her children, Larry Nance, Eve Nance, and Buford Nance; her grandchildren, Dorthanna Nance, Henry Nance, Lateef Terrell, Darius Thompson, Denise Thompson, and LaByron Nance; great grandchildren, Christopher Nance, Jason Nance, Timothy Lane, LaRyan Nance, Nathaniel Nance, and Jordan Nance; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; as well as an overwhelming amount of children and grandchildren she helped raise and nurture throughout her years including special sons and daughters Robin Thompson, Marsha Colman, Ken Meyers, Jerry Saulsberry, Laredo Anderson, and Henry Sherman and family.

Rosemary's life was always about children as she worked for Kankakee school district for over 35 years, watching over not only her children but the children of the neighborhood, school, and community. She truly touched every heart she met including her special SOUTHSIDE family in Kankakee Illinois, as well as her Amtram family Dalton Ga. She will be missed by many but loved always.

Memorial Service will be Monday, August 29, 2022 at 11:00 A. M. at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Eulogist. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
