Mr. Milton James Watkins, Sr., 68, of Columbus, GA passed Monday, August 29, 2022 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. EST, Saturday, September 3, 2022 at South Columbus United Methodist Church, Columbus, GA with Pastor Reggie Williams, officiating. Interment will follow in Edmonds Cemetery, Phenix City, AL. Visitation will be Friday, September 2, 2022 from 1-5 p.m EST.

Milton James Watkins, Sr. was born November 15, 1953 in Phenix City, AL to the late Clarence Watkins, Sr. and the late Mary Alice Lawrence. He retired from the Columbus Health Department.

Survivors include one son, Milton Watkins, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; one daughter, Shranda Watkins of Phenix City, AL; two sisters, Trethia Dickerson and Bridget Lander both of Phenix City, AL; two brothers, Clarence Watkins, Jr. of New Mexico and Jimmy Watkins of Texas.
