Visitation: 11:30 am until time of service at 1:00 pm

Burial: Hilldale Cemetery Duncan Hill Road Danville, Kentucky

Evelyn Louise Simpson Ganns went home to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, August 28, 2022 at the age of 74 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. Evelyn was born on October 11, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN to the union of Coleman and Louise Simpson who preceded her in death. Also preceding Evelyn in death were three sisters, Lillian Baker, Mary Lancaster, and Anna Brand and two brothers, James Lancaster and Coleman Simpson, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: William Ganns, husband/friend; one son, Chris (Missy) Simpson of Danville and one daughter, Evette Simpson of Danville; four grandsons, Jacody Taylor of Danville, Tre’Kale Simpson of Danville, Akili Simpson of Danville and K’Mill Simpson of Danville; two great-grandsons, Caynen Taylor and KaMaree Simpson and two great-granddaughters, Ah’Miri Simpson and Yomi Taylor; one sister, Dora Yocum of Danville; a very special and devoted friend, Djkarta Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
