Mr. Rodney Tobias Cunningham, Sr., 53 departed this life on the morning of August 28, 2022. He was born on August 30, 1968, in Lancaster County South Carolina. He was the son of Willie Lee and Ida Mae Perry Cunningham. Rodney was married to Kim Barber Cunningham.

Rodney was educated in the Lancaster County School System and was a 1988 graduate of Lancaster High School.

Rodney was the founder and owner of Xtra Mile Trucking.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Kim of Heath Springs, SC; four daughters, Sharika L. Caskey, Sheronte B. Barnes, Promise A. Cunningham and Madison J. Cunningham; two sons, Rodney T. Cunningham, Jr. and William T. Cunningham (Brandi); his parents, Willie Lee and Ida P. Cunningham; his maternal grandmother, Mamie Cunningham; one sister, Roquawna T. Catoe (Stan); three brothers, Raymond T. Cunningham (Debra), Reginald T. Cunningham (Missy) and Ryan T. Cunningham (Sondra) and seven grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Second Baptist Church, 1426 Great Falls Hwy., Lancaster, South Carolina 29720. Apostle Mamie Lee Wilson will conduct the service. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park Cemetery.

Viewing will be 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Stewart Funeral Home.

There will be no viewing on Sunday, September 4, 2022.
