Mr. Ferrell Lamont Harris, Augusta Georgia departed this life Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at an Augusta Hospital. Lamont as he was known by many, was born in Emanuel County to the late Odom Gibbons and Ernestine Harris. Lamont attended Jefferson County School and work in the Lawn and Road Service. He loved music, dancing and the Dallas Cowboys. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity C.M.E. Church with MASK. Interment will be held in Live Oak Cemetery. Public viewing will be held Friday, Sept. 2, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Odum Gibbons, Ernestine Harris and sister, Wanda Harris. He leaves to cherish his love, his wife, Wanda Jackson; children Johnathan Brown, Felana Smith, Ferrell Harris, Jr., Nathan Harris, Felecia Harris, Octavia Jackson, Johnnie Bailey and Precious Smith; siblings, Deroy (Michelle) Bealle, Jerome Harris, Carlette (John) Howard, Cynthia Harris, Theotis Harris and Audrey (Paul) Williams; twenty-two grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers: Barry Robinson, Lester Hill Dwight Torkkola, Travis Parks, Johnathan Guildry, Frances Freeman, and Lucious Richardson.
