Obituary For Willie Robinson, Jr.

Service: September 3, 2022 at 11:00 am at Jackson Revival Center Church, Jackson, MS and Burial at Autumn Woods Cemetery.

Elder Willie Robinson, Jr. was born July 2, 1935 in Jackson, Hinds County Mississippi. He was the fourth child of Willie and Mable Rachel Gross Robinson, Sr. His siblings were Lela, Nettie, George, Thomas, Ross, Mable, Alice Barbara, William and Peggy. One sibling preceded them in death.

Elder Willie accepted Christ at a young age. He was a member of Jackson Revival Center Church under the pastorate of Raymond O. Biard and later his daughter Pastor Jennifer Biard.

He married Rose Lee Banks on August 9, 1959. Together they had four children Wendell Derex, Andrea Raynard, Sharon Arneader and Willie III. They later adopted their granddaughter Brittany Nechelle.

He was an Elder at Jackson Revival Center Church and member of the Board of Directors, self-employed as an air conditioning duct and sheet metal man, and avid spectator sportsman.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of sixty-three years, Rosie Lee Banks Robinson, three sons, Wendell (Isis), Andrea, Willie III (Cassandra) all of Georgia and one daughter Sharon Arneader McAllister, thirteen grandchildren, five great grand-children sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
