Ms. Nettie Martha Peay, 81, transitioned on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. She was the only daughter of the late Clarence Virgil Peay, Sr., and the late Janie Ruth Anthony Peay. She was born on November 18, 1940 in Lancaster County.

Nettie Martha was preceded in death by her only brother, Clarence Peay Jr.

Nettie Martha did not have any children, but she loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her birth children.

Nettie Martha leaves to cherish fond memories two nieces, Angelia Peay-Clark of Charlotte, NC and Tiffany Peay of Lancaster, SC; one nephew, Reginald Peay (Queserie) of Lancaster, SC; one aunt, Pearl Anthony Peay of Buffalo, NY; three great nephews, Jamias (Marquita) Clark, Jamhad and Jalon Clark both of Charlotte, NC; one great niece, McKenzie Peay of Lancaster, SC; two great- great nephews, William and Colton; and one great-great niece, Bella Rose.

A Memorial Service will be 12:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Stewart Funeral Home, 4893 Kershaw-Camden Hwy. Heath Springs, SC 29058.
