Solomon attended the schools of Pinellas County and was a graduate of Pinellas High School, Class of 1963. He was employed with the Pinellas County Government and with his brothers in the family business, McCluster Construction Corporation. During his younger years, Solomon accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and became a longtime member of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, with aspirations to become a Deacon.
Solomon was married to Mrs. Clydie Mae McCluster, until her passing on January 5, 2019.
Solomon McCluster, Sr. departed this earthly life for eternal rest on September 3, 2022.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Clydie Mae McCluster, parents, J.C. and Annie Lee McCluster, brothers, J.C. Cannon and Calvin McCluster and sister-in-law, Barbara Jean Yeldon McCluster.
