MS. MARTHA ANN HARRIS – Age 67, of Calhoun, Georgia formerly Atlanta, Georgia passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022. She was born December 27, 1954 in Trion, GA and was later raised in LaFayette, GA. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, LaFayette, GA. She obtained an Associate’s Degree in Medical Coding from Javelin Technical College in Atlanta, GA. She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia where she worked for many years. She enjoyed having girls night with her daughter and granddaughters as well as traveling to the beach. She was preceded in death by her father, James Albert Harris, Sr., brother, James Albert “Bubba” Harris, Jr., and sister, Karen Renee Harris Burse.

She is survived by her loving mother, Martha Rae Robbs Harris, dedicated children, Ericka (Jimmy) Phillips of Calhoun, GA, Sebastian Kevin (Shannon) Harris of Baltimore, MD, and Torrey Harris of LaFayette, GA; grandchildren, Heather Dyer of Calhoun, GA, Malcolm Harris of Dalton, GA, Matthew Jackson of Atlanta, GA, Dré Harris of New York, NY, Torrey Harris, Jr., Tranae Harris, and Trace Harris all of LaFayette, GA; great grandchildren, Kylei “Poo” Dyer, Emma “Chunkin” Dyer, Martasia Harris, Aanajai Harris, Londyn Harris, Liam Sims, and Karmello Harris; siblings, Charles (LaBrina) Harris of Chattanooga, TN, Ted Harris of Atlanta, GA, Terri Harris of LaFayette, GA, and Karla (Jeff) Suttle of LaFayette, GA; brother-in-law, Ken Burse of LaFayette, GA; aunt, Robbi Anderson of Long Island, NY; uncle, Quinton Robbs of Sidney, OH; special nephew, Correy Harris; special daughter, Felicia Ware; special cousin, Marvin Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Service will be Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 2:00 P. M. at Mt Zion Baptist Church, 289 Dunwoody Rd, LaFayette, GA 30728, with Rev. Ronald Woods, Eulogist.
