Mr. Frederick Currelley was born on March 8, 1972 in Buena Vista, Georgia to Mrs. Catherine Rockwell Currelley and the late Mr. Charles Currelley.
He was educated in the Turner County Public School System. He was a member of then Turner County Rebels basketball team. Frederick graduated from Turner County High School in 1990.
Frederick gave his life to Christ at an early age and joined the Blue Springs Baptist Church in Warwick, Georgia. He was also a member of Fidelity Lodge #119, Ashburn, Georgia. Frederick loved fishing, grilling, sports, and drag races.
Frederick gave up this busy walk of life on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. His father, Charles Currelley, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie and Gussie Currelley, Mr. and Mrs. C. T., Sr. and Ella Lee Rockwell, and his best friend, brother, and fishing buddy, Cornelius Carithers, have all preceded him in death.
Frederick leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Alexis Currelley of Tampa, Florida; a grandchild, Caydence Rodriguez of Tampa, Florida; his mother, Catherine Currelley of Ashburn, Georgia; his siblings, Quashana Currelley, April Mayo, Ricardo Crockett, all of Ashburn, Georgia, Tameka Reeves of Alabama, Aretha Clay of Columbus, Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Willie C. Currelley, Bernice (Nehemiah) Johnson, both of Atlanta, Georgia, Ora Lee Morris, C. T. (Earnestine) Rockwell, Jr., Juanita Rockwell, all of Warwick, Georgia, Loistene Griffin, Linda (Willie) Felton, both of Cordele, Georgia, Dorothy (Robert) Smith of Oakfleld, Georgia, Curtis (Josie) Rockwell of Leesburg, Georgia, Josie Mae Currelley, Joseph (Delouise) Fudge, both of Jacksonville, Florida, Mattie Pearl, Margaret Hardison, both of Ashburn, Georgia; a special nephew, Kamron Section; a special friend, Angela Brasswell of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
