I only knew Fernando a few years before he left us. He was the kindest of souls. He always had a smile to greet me at school and always put a smile on my face. My children knew him longer than I did and they grew to love him just as quickly. Whether he was helping little ones in the classroom or cheering on his classmates on the field he was truly a blessing to all who knew him. The world is better for him and more broken without him.
