Robert Lee Brown, Sr., 90, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 8, 2022. He was the son of the late Columbus Mingo, Sr., Alice Jones Brown and Belton Brown, Sr.

Robert was a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church in Heath Springs, SC.

Robert was educated in the Lancaster County School System.

Robert retired from Dresser Industries after many years of service.

Robert is survived by three daughters, Gretta Brown of Wellsville, NY, Dorothy Brown of Silver Spring, MD and Joanna Gaither of Heath Springs, SC; four sons, Robert Lee Brown, Jr. of Heath Springs, SC, Donald Brown of Buffalo, NY, Lorenzo J. Brown of Wellsville, NY and Joseph Gaither (Rita) of Fort Lawn, SC; one brother, Willie Brown of Heath Springs, SC; four sisters, Mildred Cunningham and Novella Mingo-Anthony both of Lancaster, SC, Idell Ross (John) of Heath Springs, SC and Lydia Stover (Johnny) of Camden, SC ; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Friday, September 16, 2022, at Cedar Rock Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Reverend Jerusha Gaither and Reverend George Mingo will conduct Funeral Service.

Viewing will be 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the funeral home.
